Isaac Newton Taylor |
Isaac Newton Taylor (8 September 1817 - 3 June 1899) was an ordained Presbyterian minister. He began his service in Cincinnati, Ohio. He moved to Indiana where he founded Liber College in Portland, Indiana. He married is first wife Margaretta in 1837 while in Ohio. Isaac went to Platte County, Nebraska in the early 1860s where he was remarried to Mrs. Sarah Lawton in 1864. He became a very prominent citizen where he made his fortune in real estate and mining.
