Betty Allen

Allen lived in Berkeley.  She became state chairman about October 1974, after the resignation of Ray Lindquist.  She resigned about April 1975, and Lindquist returned as chairman.
Salvation Army Major Tom Cisar became state chairman about November, 1975 -- the 5th state chairman in one year.   This is the year that national chairman Earl Dodge refused to share his mailing list with the state officers, and the state party broke up in frustration and disgust.
